Puritan's Pride Double Strength Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSM contains glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM - three popular ingredients that work together to support joint health. These ingredients are key structural components in the cartilage of your joints.

Glucosamine promotes the formation and repair of cartilage. The production of glucosamine decreases in the body with each passing year, so replenishing its supply from outside sources is necessary for strong and healthy cartilage. It also participates in the synthesis of tendon, bone, and membrane tissues.

Chondroitin sulfate is part of proteoglycan, a protein molecule that gives cartilage its elasticity. Intense physical activity leads to a sharp decrease in the level of proteoglycan, and chondroitin sulfate is responsible for its synthesis in the body. This component improves joint lubrication, stimulates collagen production, and increases the level of hyaluronic acid - a key component of synovial fluid.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) - a natural source of sulfur, without which the synthesis of protein, production of hormones and enzymes, and tissue growth are impossible.
